Aniq Rahman

Omar Faruque Mosque

In this project, I created brand guidelines and a new visual identity for Omar Faruque Mosque.
The Omar Faruque Mosque branding project was inspired by a vision to blend traditional Islamic aesthetics with a modern and minimalistic identity. The mosque wanted a brand that reflected the spiritual, cultural, and community values of Islam through a unified and welcoming visual identity, that not only inspires faith, but reinforces connection, and trust. While, hoping to inspire spiritual growth and connection across generations.

The logo showcases a unique and reductive design, that is tailored to the initials of the institution and the architecture of the mosque, which is formed on geometric foundations.

The final deliverables featured a sleek, versatile logo, a brand new colour palette, typography guidelines, signage, and social media assets.

“Aniq Rahman has produced some excellent ideas for a revamp of our mosque logo and provided us with a package of variations to fulfil the full breadth of branding needs that the mosque requires. He has been excellent in engaging with us to present the context and inspiration for his logo concepts, taking into consideration the current themes of the mosque branding as well as innovatively incorporating the mosques name and initials within the new branding ideas. We have been able to input into the designs, as he has been keen to ensure the end deliverables are in line with our preferences. We are grateful to Aniq for his professional recommendations and guidance on branding.”
